Core Values: Self-Discipline + Love
Character Strengths: Honesty, Kindness, Fairness, Perseverance, Judgement
Hello! My name is Nino Khvediashvili, and I work as a teacher aid/floater at Little Acorn. This is my first year in Early Childhood Education, but I have extensive experience working with children through tutoring and volunteer work. I am majoring in Psychology and am passionate about understanding the field by gaining direct experience working with individuals of all ages. I appreciate seeing children develop, adapt, and learn. Through my work with kids of all age groups, I have come to the philosophy that every individual learns at a different pace. Therefore, I believe that the first step to being a good educator is to see children as individuals with their own ideas and personalities, regardless of age. It is important to me not to underestimate anyone, regardless of their background or age group, as everyone has something unique about them that we can learn from. I believe in viewing students as equals rather than in an authority dynamic, which allows for a friendly and healthy learning environment. This is a belief that I practice when working with students.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending much time in the gym and investing in my training. I share this passion with my twin sister! Self-discipline is one of my core values, and my dedication to the gym is a prime example of how it has helped me shape my disciplined lifestyle, which now transcends all aspects of my life. I believe it is my duty and purpose to always strive to be the best version of myself. Additionally, I love reading books and leaving reviews on the novels I read!
