Date Started At LACP: July 2015

Education: California Polytechnic State University - Child Development

Born and raised in San Diego County, California. I was blessed to be in a large family. I have three sisters and one brother. We are a close-knit family and I enjoy spending time with my relatives near and far. I migrated to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly as a Child Development Major. I was hired by the Probation Department to work with juveniles and stayed on for 13 years working all facets of a probation officer. Simultaneously, I studied Aikido and taught self-defense programs to children and adults for five years while in San Luis Obispo. On my long and winding path, I ended up coming to Mountain View as a transitional place and ended up working at LACP which placed me back to my roots in child development. I am enthralled with early childhood education and feel as though this profession is a calling for me. I am happy to learn alongside your children and feel blessed to be a part of this beautiful community. My personal vision for LACP is that everyone feels as though they belong.
