Hi! My name is Larixsa and I am one of the educators in the Meadow Classroom. Recently, I transitioned to the Meadow classroom from Sprout’s classroom, where I'm excited to further explore self-guided provocation and enhance learning through the environment. Before joining Little Acorn, I dedicated three years to volunteering at my local church's children's ministry, which sparked my passion for childhood development. I graduated from Foothill College in December 2023 with an Associate in Child Development and will continue my education. By expanding my knowledge, my goal is to enrich the curriculum further to support and solidify vital life skills that will be used throughout adulthood. 

Beyond my career, I enjoy painting, listening to science/health podcasts, reading, and trying new foods. I also have a passion for discussing all things related to coffee! A fun fact about me is that I worked as a Barista at Peet's Coffee for three years, giving me a deep appreciation for the complexity of various blends, beans, and drinks.
